Life Balance Chiropractic Centre is looking for new part-time Clinic Assistants/Receptionists for our busy and expanding Poole Clinic.

Position Title: Clinic Assistant/Receptionist

Location: Poole, Dorset, UK

Job Type: Part-time, Permanent (3 - 4 + shifts per week over 19-25 hours plus overtime when required
The required shifts for this position are between 7.30 am-1.30 pm and 1.30pm-7.45pm.
Wednesday mornings 8.40 am-12.00 pm.
1 Saturday a month is required.

Salary: £12.44 per hour (rising to £13.06 after probation) + OTE of £135 bonus per month

Role Overview: We seek coachable and motivated individuals to join our team as Clinic Assistants/Receptionists. No industry experience is required.
In this position; you will play a key role in delivering customer delight and serving more people in our community through community outreach and follow-up.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet patients with a smile and provide excellent customer service
  • Handle phone calls, SMS, and emails , including follow-with, rescheduling no-shows, cancels and reactivation of past clients.
  • Manage inbound and outbound sales enquiries and schedule appointments
  • Follow proven processes using a checklist-first approach
  • Take payments and maintain client account database
  • Ensure the clinic is clean and tidy
  • Assist chiropractors with patient care and administrative tasks ,such as accurate cashing up, inventory, and current promotions.
  • Participate in marketing campaigns and social media posts
  • Attend regular training and cover for teammates as needed

Requirements:

  • Ability to work at least 19 hours per week and one Saturday morning per month.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Attention to detail and professionalism
  • Strong organizational and IT skills
  • 2 years of customer experience preferred but not essential
  • Coachable, self-motivated, and eager to learn
  • Reliable, punctual, and a team player
  • Uses system thinking for recurring tasks and challenges

  • Good account handling and call handling skills (desirable but not necessary)
  • Appointment setting, Inbound Sales rep experience (desirable but not necessary)
